It was voted on Unanamously that all the girls would get together to help Nana make the Christmas Candy this year .(Of course Nana was the only one that voted) She did get some interesting looks though from(Alisa, Carol & Misty & Breanna) It was also voted on Unanamously that the guys would take all the little ones for the day elsewhere. (Of course Nana was the only one that voted) She did get some interesting looks though from( Papa, Jamie, Josh & Jeremy though) Especially when she suggested taking them to Chucky cheese.

All in all it was a great Thanksgiving and we all had a lot to thank God for. After the day was done and all had gone home Papa realized not all had gone home as our bed was full of grandkids. But yes seeing those wonderful little sleeping faces was a lot to be thankful for too.
Papa & Nana ventured to Springfield Wednesday (AM) in our first windy, rain & sleet storm. It turned into a ground covered snow storm. We went to get last minute forgotten Thanksgiving groceries.The electricity was out at the grocery store so while a worker helped Nana get what she needed in produce Papa ran next door to buy a flashlight. That way they could finish their shopping allowing workers to help others. With that done they ventured down the road trying to decide which way to go home. The interstate or the country way. Powerlines above them started shooting blue flames and sparked. But when they heard on the scanner semi's were jacknifing on the interstate they decided on the country way home. So off they went through the snow after Papa assured Nana he would go slow by the lake and not drive her into it. OH THE THINGS WE DO to make sure our family has a
